Actually, you can join the doubles or singles ladders and do 2v2/1v1.

Well yeah but we can't have say a SBe Doubles team because you're only allowed 2 people on the roster, same with 1 person on the singles ladder. I was making reference to the fact that MW2 used to have 3v3 as an option for the Team ladder.
